INSPIRATION FROM PROBLEMS
Many designs result from finding a problem with a specific mechanic or aspect of society. Rather than react to problems it is best to look specifically for them. I like to dig deep to look for the routes of contradictions, which is why I enjoy project management so that a new method can be thought up to complete a task. Regarding game creation, play testing is the best source for new ideas and opportunities.
